The guides 'Quantifying Uncertainty in Analytical Measurement', 'Traceability in Chemical Measurement' and 'Quality Assurance for Research and Development
and Non-routine Analysis' are published by kind permission of Eurachem and CITAC. The guides can also be downloaded
free of charge from their websites, www.eurachem.org and www.citac.cc respectively.

About Eurachem

Eurachem is a network of organisations in Europe having the objective of establishing a system for the international
traceability of chemical measurements and the promotion of good quality practices. It provides a forum for the discussion
of common problems and for developing an informed and considered approach to both technical and policy issues. It
provides a focus for analytical chemistry and quality related issues in Europe. Each country has its own national
Eurachem organisation and the contact details are given on the Eurachem website. One of the principle activities is
the preparation of guides and organising of conferences by the various working groups. Anyone wishing to join one of
these groups either as a full member or on a 'papers for comment' basis should contact their national representative.

About CITAC

CITAC (Co-operation on International Traceability in Analytical Chemistry) has similar aims to Eurachem but operates
on a world wide basis to improve the international comparability of chemical measurement.
